This recent landscape, by Stella Agnew, Towards the Downs at the Deverills, has a wonderful timeless feel to it, harking back to earlier era, with an almost Modern British feel. It is so difficult to find any work of true originality, with its own voice and particular style, be it an abstract or figurative piece. Stella achieves exactly that, her own distinctive interpretation of the landscape surrounding her home, a constant inspiration.
Stella spent several years restoring oil paintings for both galleries and private clients, before turning to painting herself. Colour and pattern underly her representational landscapes. Each painting capturing a moment in time, and our time within it.
The Autumn Collection opens on Friday 27th and is open daily until Sunday October 13th.
