Check in on friends who have mental health problems.
We’re used to putting on a front when in reality, we’re falling apart inside. We’re used to making a joke out of things to cover up the horrible feelings in our head and we’re used to just getting on with it so we don’t burden other people but sometimes we need help, regardless of how strong we appear to be.
It’s not always easy to speak up when you feel so trapped and overwhelmed. Fear takes over you but please know you will feel so much better if you let it out. Even write it down but please don’t bottle it up.
