Repost By @johnkennedyvaughan : Our whole life depends on understanding what love really is. It’s why I wrote “The Right Fight- How to Live a Loving Life.” The little things are the big things! When we are faithful with little, then we can be faithful with more. Living a loving life does not mean living a perfect life. It means fighting to love and being willing to repent when we fail. Our responsibility is not God’s plan for our life. Our responsibly is our next loving decision. One decision at a time, God leads us to what would have totally overwhelmed us had we known ahead of time. Matthew 22:36-40
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” ...
What are you carrying this morning? What have you been carrying? What is giving you anxiety? What is causing you to worry? What is causing you to hurt? What is causing you to mourn? Some of the responses to these questions may be reasonable but you don’t have to do this alone. You are not alone. See not only do you have the body of Christ, the church, that wants to walk with you and carry your burden with you but more importantly you have God. You see the LORD is with you and He wants you to throw EVERYTHING you have onto Him, regardless of how big and small. You problems may not go away but sure as heck know that God is with you and when God is with you then who (or what) can stand against you. Cast your cares on Christ and the church and know that you are not alone.
