How do you take care of YOU? I have been awful about this since becoming a mom. At almost three years into parenting, I'm finally taking some time to focus on me. If you've been following along with my stories, you've probably seen me sharing that I have started attending camps at @burnbootcampnapervilleil {#partnership} The number one reason I've been able to start working on myself again is that Burn offers childcare (you can see 3 of my 4 kids photobombing me through the window 🤣)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The camps are hard; a good kind of hard, but REALLY hard. I am SO weak. After having 4 babies in such a short time, without fitness in between, or during, pregnancies I lost all of my strength. I honestly didn't even expect it to be as weak as I discovered I am. It both motivates me to keep coming back and makes me want to quit because the work is going to be seriously hard. I don't think I would have returned if the Burn community wasn't so supportive.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I've committed to camps 3 days a week and made a habit out of getting there. Last week I had a focus meeting & today I got my goal numbers for nutrition...so today starts deliberate focus on my diet! So I’m officially dropping out of my race next month 😭 My hip has really been bothering me and honestly my heart just hasn’t been in it to keep powering through 🤷🏽‍♀️ My body really doesn’t respond well to running but I do it anyway because I’m stubborn 😂 but I feel like it’s a good idea to take a break for a while and move my body in different ways 👋🏼.
