At first glance, these might look like alien structures - but they are actually "Colony Gardens" in Copenhagen, Denmark - small pieces of garden space in which Danish citizens can rent to grow their own produce.⠀
As photographer @henry_do puts it:⠀
“Space is extremely limited if you're living the main city so this is the perfect way to have your own gardens & get back to nature! Owners are allowed to live there between April-October to take care of their gardens (can't grow anything in the winter.)”⠀
What a unique way of contributing to a better, greener planet 🌍 ⠀
What do you think? ...
“At the end of the tunnel, there’s is always a light, it just might be a train.”
Michael Geoffrey Skinner -
I’m reminded of these words after today’s events.
