Our sweet baby girl is TWO! 😍😭 I don’t know how time has flown by so fast or how she has grown so big, but I do know that she is the greatest blessing we will ever have in our lives, & I don’t know how we ever lived without her!
We love you so much babes, HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🥳 🎈
Charlee loves: horses, running, being outside, not eating, purses, doing hair & makeup, grandparents, slides & swings, ice cream, popcorn, sleeping in mom & dads bed, and her mom & dad. ...
Early run, followed by my favorite breakfast- açaí (I buy the packets from Costco), homemade granola (cashew coconut this time), and whatever fruit I’ve got laying around (mangoes and cherries today). •
Why is breakfast important for runners? Well let me tell ya!
1️⃣Most people are unlikely to make up the nutrients and vitamins later in the day- those that they would have gotten from a healthy breakfast.
2️⃣Breakfast gives you the energy that you need to combat your day. Without a good breakfast, you’re likely to hit a mid-morning “low.”
3️⃣Runners want to maintain muscle, and this muscle is breaking down constantly. You want to rebuild it with amino acids. Eating proteins and carbs in the morning helps your muscles to rebuild!
4️⃣You’re more likely to eat healthier throughout the day if you start it off right. Those that skip breakfast are more likely to make up the calories in fat and sugar later on when the “hanger” sets in. This can cause fatigue and weight gain (not great for hitting a killer workout).
