Bad news 😭 I had a medical form signed a few weeks ago by my GP to say that I was fit to jump and all was good. Then after a week of recent chest pain I was told to go to A&E on Sunday 8th and have been in and out of hospital since then up until yesterday having numerous tests scans and x-rays. It transpires that I have a respiratory infection and my small bowel is also swollen both of which are causing the acute chest pain. With this in mind the hospital have advised that I dont jump this weekend which I am gutted about!
I am currently taking medication 5 types including strong pain killers and I am so disappointed not to be able to jump with @suessampson and the team on Sunday - although I will still be driving up to Banbury to cheer them on.
I have already collected almost £1000 in sponsorship money so I have been in touch with the team at @skyline__events and I am going to defer the date of my jump and will have this confirmed next week. So keep following and I will update my @JustGiving page next week with the new date. Maybe I can convince a few more people to skydive with me so I dont have to do it on my own! If youre interested - let me know 😉
